Quick Start

- Install the plugin in Figma or Pixso using the product page instructions.
- Open the plugin inside the editor and start with the main workflow described on the product card.
Overview
## The problem Default copy and paste in Figma often loses links to variables, styles, and components. Nested instances may still point to source components from another file. ## The solution **Component Copier** serializes the full element structure and restores it during paste. ### What is preserved - Variables: colors, spacing, sizing, and bound aliases - Styles: fill, stroke, text, effect, and grid styles - Components: nested instances at any depth - Auto Layout: full layout settings and constraints ### Cloud sync - Clipboard data is stored on the server for 24 hours - Copy at work, paste at home - Works across browsers and computers - User identity is linked automatically when available ### Smart paste - Finds matching local variables by name - Creates local components for nested instances - Handles missing resources and conflicts ## How to use 1. Select layers in Figma or Pixso 2. Open the plugin and click Copy 3. Move to another file 4. Open the plugin and click Paste 5. The structure is restored with dependencies intact
Data And Privacy
- The plugin may use CHTools cloud storage for server-backed workflows.
- COPY and PASTE data is stored on the CHTools server for 24 hours. Images are uploaded separately and referenced from clipboard payloads, so users can copy between computers and the service can be debugged from server-side logs.
