Server Library Documentation
Server-backed design library for Figma and Pixso: components, revisions, tokens, assets, dependencies, and a web management module.
Quick Start
- Open the product page and download the latest public build for the platform you need.
- Install the plugin in Figma or Pixso using the product page instructions.
- Open the plugin inside the editor and start with the main workflow described on the product card.
Overview
Server Library is a separate CHTools product where the server database is the source of truth for design components. Figma and Pixso plugins act as editor clients: publish selected components, install server revisions, scan local projections, and prepare safe updates. The web module manages user libraries, component records, immutable revisions, token collections, assets, dependency graphs, installed projections, review workflow, audit events, and future billing/team access. This is different from Component Copier: clipboard payloads are temporary, while Server Library stores long-lived libraries and revision history.
Data And Privacy
- The plugin may use CHTools cloud storage for server-backed workflows.
- Server Library stores long-lived component libraries, immutable component revisions, canonical JSON payloads, tokens, assets, dependency graphs, and local Figma/Pixso projection metadata on the CHTools server. Unlike Component Copier clipboard payloads, this data is not temporary copy/paste storage; it is the source of truth for user-created libraries.
